Your words stay yours.

Account information. Your email address and a securely hashed password, handled by our authentication provider. We never see your password.

Your check-ins. The mood you select and its date — one check-in per day.

Journal entries. The text you write or dictate, the prompt shown, the mood, and the date. Journal entries are private account content stored in the app's database. They are protected by per-account database rules so that only your signed-in account can read them. They are not end-to-end encrypted, which means our operators could technically access the database; we do not read your entries, and we never place journal text into analytics, marketing, or model training.

Saved quotes and collections. Which quotes you favorite and any collections you create.

Personalization settings. Your preferred name, themes, reminder preference, music genres and favorite artists, scripture preference, and the optional "about you" selections.

Song feedback. Songs you thumb up or down, with the related mood, so future suggestions fit you better.

Spotify connection. If you link Spotify, we store the access and refresh tokens Spotify issues, your Spotify display name and user id, and the id of the Soul Set playlist we create for you. We use them only to add songs you liked to that playlist. Disconnecting removes them.

Feedback you send us. Anything you submit through the feedback form.

Usage events. Product analytics such as "a mood was selected", "a quote was shared", or "a journal entry was completed", with small non-sensitive details such as the mood name. Journal text, prompt text, and other free-form writing are stripped before an event is recorded. We do not use session replay.

To sign you in, show you the right quote and song, keep your streak and history, remember your preferences, respond to your support requests, and understand which parts of Soul Set are useful so we can improve them.

We do not sell your information, and we do not run advertising in Soul Set.

Lovable hosts the app and provides the backend platform.

Supabase provides the database and authentication used by that platform, where your account and content are stored.

Spotify receives only what is needed to look up a song and add it to your Soul Set playlist, and only if you connect your account. Your use of Spotify is also covered by Spotify's own terms and privacy policy.

Song look-ups may also call public music catalog APIs to find a track link or preview clip. Those requests contain a song title and artist — never your journal, mood history, or identity.

When AI is used to suggest songs, only the mood name plus your chosen genres and artists are sent. Journal entries are never sent to any AI service.

Your content stays in your account until you remove it. You can delete individual journal entries and saved quotes in the app, disconnect Spotify at any time from your profile, and delete your entire account and all of its data from Account & data. Account deletion is immediate and permanent; we cannot recover deleted entries. Backups held by our platform providers may persist for a short period before they roll off.

You can ask for a copy of your information, correct it, or have it deleted. Email us at hello@soulset.app and we will respond as soon as we can. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA.

Soul Set is intended for adults age 18 and older.

If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we will update this page and the date at the top.
